Omega HealthTest – As the first in India, we developed and are in the process of launching a DBS based over-the-counter test for inflammatory processes in the human body, a test for measuring the omega-6 to omega-3 ratio, Omega-3 Index, AA/EPA ratio and % Omega-6 LC- HUFA in dried blood spot. The N6/N3 ratio is being recommended by International bodies as a potential new marker for Heart health. The test is accredited to the ISO/IEC 170252005 Standards.
New Born Screening – LHC is a part of a consortium looking at prevalence of Inborn Errors of Metabolism (IEM) in the Indian Population, and is responsible for analyzing, over a period of two years, ~ 100,000 DBS Samples Using in-house LC-MSMS instrument. This is perhaps, the largest volume of IEM samples analyzed to-date in India.
